- Born in New York City. Wanted to be an Illustrator. Bought lots of magazines to collect my favorite illustrators works. Went to The Art Students League. Studies interrupted by a four stint in the Air Force. Went to town (Rapid City, SD) and got a job part time in a sign shop which came in handy later on. After attending The School of Visual Arts became an art director. I enjoyed that for several years, studied with Edgar Whitney and moved to Maine and opened an art gallery. Very happy here.
